Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov. 26
By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:
Turkey provides the Syrian opposition with weapons, the leader of Turkey's Republican People's Party, Kemal Kilicdaroglu said, TRT Haber TV channel reported on Nov.26.
According to Kilicdaroglu, all this is done in order to hide the country's fiasco in the Syrian crisis.
He also added that the country's Mid East policy is wrong.
"As a result of its Middle Eastern policy, the government has damaged relations with Egypt, Syria and Israel," Kilicdaroglu said.
During the conflict in Syria, which began in March 2011, over 115, 000 people were killed and over 4.2 million have become refugees in Syrian territory as well as two million have fled to neighbouring countries. The main burden of receiving refugees lay on Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey. The total population of Syria before the conflict amounted to 20 million.
