The Land Forces of the Azerbaijani Army conducted firing exercises from heavy machine guns and automatic grenade launchers in accordance with the combat training plan for 2022, Trend reports via the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
According to the ministry, before the exercises, the units fulfilled the standards for reconnaissance on the ground, taking up firing positions and bringing weapons to combat readiness.
The units successfully completed the tasks of firing at the target from a prearranged position.
The main goal of the exercises, conducted taking into account the combat experience gained during the 2020 second Karabakh war, is to further increase the combat readiness of the units, as well as improve the practical skills of the personnel, including firing.
