BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 16. Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission has submitted the relevant documents to the Constitutional Court to approve the results and outcomes of the parliamentary elections, Trend reports.

According to the information, the Constitutional Court should complete the process of verification and approval of the results and outcomes of the Azerbaijani Parliament elections within 10 days after receiving the relevant documents (this term may be increased if the verification process requires it).

The CEC today summarized the results of the Azerbaijani Parliamentary elections held on September 1.

To note, extraordinary parliamentary elections were held in Azerbaijan on September 1.

A total of 112,749 local observers were registered to observe the elections. More than 65,000 of them were representatives of political parties. The number of registered international observers was 598, representing 51 organizations and 69 countries.

Of the 990 registered candidates for the parliamentary elections, 305 were representatives of 25 political parties. Although 371 candidates are members of political parties, they were not nominated by the parties they belong to. A total of 676 candidates had political party affiliation.
