Rene Van Der Linden, the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), will more probably arrive in Azerbaijan after January 2006, Baku-based Information Office of the CE told Trend.
“Linden voiced his will to visit Azerbaijan, while the date of the visit is still to be accorded,” the same source said, noting it can be more probably paid after January 2006.
The plenary session of PACE scheduled for 23-27 January 2005 will focus on issues linked with the state in Azerbaijan, in particular, discussions on results of parliamentary elections on 6 November.
