The oppositional rally, scheduled for 3 December, will not turn into the sit-in action, the Azadlig bloc co-founder Serdar Djalalogli said in a statement, Trend reports.
He noted, joint sitting of the Azadlig alliance and the National Unity Movement has been held on 28 November, at which a number of decisions were taken. Summing up the results of the 26 November rally, the oppositional leaders made up their minds not to admit transition of the 3 December protest action into the sit-in form.
Djalaloglu noted, the decision on the 26 November action continuation as sit-in had been taken during the rally. According to him, it was not the initial decision by the coalition’s leaders. He also said, the police set to the action’s dispersal 15 minutes before the authorized period finishing.
