Azerbaijan Government forwarded its proposals on setting up inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation to UAE

The government of Azerbaijan forwarded the government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) its proposals on establishing the joint inter-governmental commission for economic cooperation, the Azerbaijans Cabinet of Ministers (CM) told Trend.

The arrangement on setting up the inter-governmental commission has been reached during the visit of the Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov to UAE. Azerbaijan and UAE have large opportunities for bilateral economic cooperation developing, exchange of experience in oil, energy and other fields, the Government thinks. The sides intend also to undertake some moves for increase of the existing trade turnover between Azerbaijan and UAE.

The government of Azerbaijan thinks also that establishing of the joint inter-governmental commission is significant from the standpoint of economic and trade links development. The Azerbaijans CM will finish the commission composition forming and submit it to the President for approval shortly.
