Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev opened on 29 May a new busing of the Azerbaijani embassy in at Ien Ave. in Paris, not far from Triumph Arch, Trend reports citing ITAR-TASS.
The head of state also had a meeting with the outstanding businessmen at the Union of French Entrepreneurs /MEDEF/.
Tierre Kurten, the Vice President of MEDEF, in particular, stressed that Azerbaijan is most prosperous country of the Caucasus region. The economic growth ratio of this country increases rapidly and in 205 it reached 20%". MEDEF drew attention to the fact that the exploitation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline will bring some $15bn to the country a year.
"Azerbaijan will expand its political and economic relationships with its neighbors - Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Georgia and Turkey, as well as the cooperation with the West, in particular, the European Union and the United States," the Union of French Entrepreneurs announced.
On Tuesday French President Jaques Chirac will receive the Azerbaijani president at Elysee Palace. At the same day Azerbaijani President will address to the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO, which started at the April Palace of Congresses some days ago.
