In result of the crash taken place in Hajigabul, about 1,5 ha territory polluted with mazut, Trend reports with reference to Huseyin Bagirov, the Azerbaijani Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources.
At the moment, the clear-up of 1 ha land is carried out and relevant analysis is realized, told Bagirov.
According to Bagirov, at present the brigade of the Ecological Ministry implements work in crash place and it is not difficult to restore the previous condition of the territory.
On June 5, 15 out of 34 trains with mazut M-40 directed to Georgia pulled off the rails near the Muganli station in Hajigabul district and in result about 800 tones of mazut spilled into 15-20 cm of land.
