A constituency conference of the Assembly of US-Azerbaijani Associations will be held in the beginning of next year, Nazim Ibrahimov, the chairman of the State Committee on Azerbaijanis residing abroad, told Trend.
He announced that the preparatory work for establishment of the Assembly is underway and special commission has been set up in this respect. The organization will be formed approximately in the beginning of 2006 and a big constancy conference will be staged, Ibrahimov stressed.
The chairman of the Committee also announced that a meeting of the Congress of the European Azerbaijan will be staged in October 2006. After the first forum the Intelligentsia of the World Azerbaijanis for the next time will organize similar forums with participation of the Azerbaijani representatives from another sphere. It is planned to hold the first forum of world Azerbaijani scientists and relevant preparations are underway. It is planned to convene a forum of the work Azerbaijanis with the participation of world journalists Azerbaijanis by origin, Ibrahimov informed.
