Iran is a big country and there are certain forces which are not interested in the good and friendly relations with Azerbaijan. Surely, some steps might be taken in this connection, Novruz Mammadov, Chief of the External Affairs Department of the Azerbaijan Presidential Administration, told journalists commenting messages spread by some media sources on holding pickets in front of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran, during which, some slogans against our country were sounded, Trend reports.
The most important for us is the fact that relations between Azerbaijan and Iran are at a high level and continuing to develop further. If there are some problems in the bilateral relations needed to be discussed and resolved, then we shall appeal to the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Iran and take corresponding steps as well, said Mr. Mammadov.
