Georgia, Tbilisi / corr. Trend N.Kirskhalia / The representatives of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia are furious over the incorrect publication of the "Armenian export-catalog".
The First Secretary of the Embassy, Elkhan Polukhov, stated that the publication which was prepared with the support of the Swiss SDC catalog describes the Nagorno-Karabakh company as being an Armenian company. "We must make it clear that if Armenia has received a permit to use the logo of the Swiss State Organization, and if the SDC logo has been used with the permission of the organization, then Baku officially needs to take official action," Plukhov said. He stressed that in this case violation of international standards was visible.
The First Secretary stated that the booklet depicts a number of 5-6 times the companies Askeren and Stepanakert, which are situated in Nagorno-Karabakh. However, in the catalog they are not described as part of Azerbaijan, but as part of Armenia. The catalog has been produced at a top quality level and prepared by various Armenian organizations.
On 1 March, the catalog was presented to a safety of foodstuff forum, organized by the Eurasia Foundation in Tbilisi for the representatives of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia.
