Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend /On 30 November, the private information company Trend which combines four news agencies was awarded 'Best Company of Year', established by the Azerbaijani magazine Consulting & Business, in the category mass media. In 2006, Trend also collected the same award.
The award was presented to the General Director of Trend, Ilgar Huseynov, in Gulustan Palace in Baku. In his speech, Ilgar Huseynov expressed his warm gratitude to Trend's team for their successful work and thanked the organizer for their objectiveness.
Trend was established in 1995 in Azerbaijan. The company combines four divisions:
- International news agency TREND NEWS is one of the most authoritative providers of operative news from Azerbaijan. The agency includes foreign and local news departments.
- TREND CAPITAL agency specializes in business news and is one of the leaders in the Caspian region news sphere.
- TREND LIFE agency is the only source of its kind in Azerbaijan, which specializes in social, cultural and show business news.
- TREND PHOTO agency provides a wide range of photo and video news from Azerbaijan, prepared by professional staff.
Trend's clients mainly include Azerbaijani and foreign sources of media, Azerbaijani governmental bodies, diplomatic missions, public organizations and large local and foreign companies.
