Centre for Youth Career Opened in Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan, Baku, November 26/ Trend corr S.Kazimli / Opening of the Centre for Youth Career is of great importance in Azerbaijan. Graduates of all universities, along with graduates of Economic University can get a job through the centre, Azad Rahimov, minister of youth and sport told journalists at opening ceremony of the Centre for Youth Career set up at Azerbaijani Economic University.
Centre for Youth Career was opened on the basis of joint project of Ministry of Youth and Sport, Economic University and International Labor Organization, minister said. "Internet base was created in the centre. The offices of the Center are expected to be opened in other universities as well. Chief goal of the centre is to provide graduates of universities with job," Rahimov said.
Opening of the centre will enable youth to find jobs, minister said. "It is necessary to organize job fairs and open such centers in order to provide youth with job. State program on youth for 2005-2009 is being carried out successfully. Results of the state program will be made public in 2009," he said.
Young people should possess high skills to get present-day jobs. Rahimov said. 'If young people have them, it will be easier to provide them with job," Rahimov said.
