Two Tajik cyclists Khushvakhtov Alisher and Aziz Saidali are riding across several countries as part of the Sport - Ambassador of Peace Olympic initiative.
The cyclists will ride through Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Their goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Yesterday the Tajik cyclists crossed the Azerbaijani border, and they hope to reach Iran in two days, the Tajik Embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend.
The embassy has asked the authorities to help the athletes.
