The Congress of Azerbaijanis in Georgia (CAG) intends to convene an extraordinary session on Nov. 27, Chairman of the CAG Committee on preparation for the session Kamil Aliyev said.

The Congress of Azerbaijanis in Georgia (CAG) intends to convene an extraordinary session on Nov. 27, Chairman of the CAG Committee on preparation for the session Kamil Aliyev said.

CAG Chairman Ali Babayev has a little confrontation with other founders of the Congress.

"The founders decided to convene an extraordinary session to resolve the tense situation in order to ensure observance of the CAG's goals - to serve the people and the state," Aliyev said.

The Congress was established on March 17, 2008.

According to unofficial information, about 500,000 Azerbaijanis live in Georgia.
