The experience gained at the World Cup in Baku will help to perform well at the upcoming competitions, Belarus’ gymnast Pavel Bulavski told reporters in Baku March 18.

Bulavski ranked the second with a score of 14.000 in men’s floor exercises at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup.

“I had minor mistakes, but in general I performed well,” he said.

The gymnast added that the World Cup in Baku allowed him to develop his skills.

The first day of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup finals has kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.

Azerbaijan is represented by Murad Agharzayev in men’s floor exercises and parallel bars.

Yulia Inshina, Ekaterina Tishkova represent Azerbaijan in women’s uneven bars, and Marina Nekrasova - in vault.

A total of ten sets of medals will be awarded at the competitions.

The FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup finals will end Mar. 19. Gymnasts from 23 countries take part in the FIG World Cup in artistic gymnastics, which is hosted by Azerbaijan for the second time.
