Three Saudi citizens were detained for illegal hunting in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources said in a message Jan. 29.
According to the message, the Saudi citizens were detained during a raid, which seized three hunting rifles and six cartridges.
Under the legislative requirements, each of the violators of the law was fined 2,000 manats – in total, 6,000 manats.
An appeal was sent to the State Migration Service to deport violators from the country.
