BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 1. Over 30 bus routes currently operate around the Koroglu metro station. However, during COP29, around 12 of these routes will be redirected to the Ulduz metro station, while the rest will serve the Gara Garayev metro station and other nearby stations, said Anar Rzayev, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), Trend reports.
He shared these updates at a special briefing on the COP29 transportation plan.
“Only three bus routes—No. 163, 184, and 214—will continue to operate near Koroglu station, mainly serving the Ramana and Zabrat villages as well as the Surakhani district. The opposite side of the station area will be fully designated for COP29 operations,” he explained. “The public will receive regular updates on these changes.”
He added that adjustments will be made to the traffic patterns of a total of 57 bus routes throughout COP29.
