An Azerbaijani dance pair won a gold medal in the category of European dances at the International Dance contest held in Tbilisi, Georgia, Trend special correspondent reports from Georgia. Eldar Jafarov and Anna Sajina performed best 10 European dances and became the third in the common score following the Russian pairs.
The international contest on ballroom dances started in Tbilisi on 12 May with the participation of pairs from Russia, Belorus, Ukraine, Israel, Turkey an Armenia. The Azerbaijani pair who trained in Europe was regarded as the most perspective.
As to the Caucasus cup held in team score, it again remained in Georgia for 11th time,
