Baku, Azerbaijan, Dec. 7
By Huseyn Valiyev – Trend:
A new radiation-absorbent material developed by the High Tech Research Center of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has passed the first tests satisfactorily, the Center told Trend.
The new radiation-absorbent material can be applied to surfaces of objects to render them invisible to most radar systems.
The new radiation-absorbent material can be used for anti-radar protection of both unmanned aerial vehicles and other military equipment.
However, the High Tech Research Center said the material needs to be additionally tested in a testing ground.
“We are awaiting permission from the Ministry of Defense for this,” the Center said.
