Turkey and Azerbaijan will conduct radiological and radiometric studies in Azerbaijan’s territories liberated from occupation [from Armenian occupation as a result of the 2020 Karabakh war], a source in the Turkish government told Trend.
According to the source, the territories on which the studies will be conducted will be determined by the Azerbaijani side.
The radiometric and radiological studies will be carried out by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, the Turkish Energy, Nuclear Energy and Mineral Resources Agency (TENMAK), as well as the General Directorate of Mining, Research and Exploration (MTA) under the ministry, added the source.
