BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), in agreement with the relevant government departments, has submitted a bill "On payment services and systems" to the government for consideration, Farid Osmanov, executive director of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), said, Trend reports.
Osmanov made the remark at a press conference on April 29 in Baku.
He also noted that in the first quarter of 2022, non-cash payments in Azerbaijan increased by 2.1 times compared to the same period of last year - up to 4.4 billion manat ($2.6 billion).
