BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 4. Fish exports from Dagestan (Russia) to Azerbaijan since the beginning of 2022 has amounted to $200,000, Head of the Dagestan Export Support Center Ruslan Abaskuliyev said during a meeting with the CEO of Russian Yug-product LLC Arsen Kasimov, Trend reports.
According to Abaskuliyev, the region plans to soon expand the supply of frozen and smoked fish.
"This year, the region fish exported worth $200,000 to Iraq, Azerbaijan and Israel. To further increase the exports, we have worked out a roadmap for undertaking new support measures, from reimbursement of logistics costs to participation in international exhibitions," he added.
