BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 13. The value of clothes export from Türkiye to Azerbaijan decreased from January through June 2022, Turkish Ministry of Trade told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
According to the ministry, this figure amounted to $4.6 million, down by 23.1 percent on annual basis.
Türkiye exported clothes worth $29.4 million to Azerbaijan in June this year, which is 25.4 percent more than in the same month of 2021, the ministry said.
The total value of clothes export from Türkiye abroad grew by 14.5 percent in the first half of 2022 compared to the same period last year and equaled $10.8 billion.
In June 2022, Türkiye exported clothes in the amount of $1.97 billion to international markets, up by 9.5 percent in annual terms.
Over the past year (from June 2021 through June 2022), the country exported clothes worth $21.6 billion.
