Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $21.3 billion (taking into account the statistical cost of crude oil and natural gas, customs clearance of which was not completed), according to the results of first five months of 2022, including export - $16.2 billion, import - $5.1 billion, Trend reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
Committee said that the trade surplus exceeded $11.07 billion.
According to the committee, legal entities and individuals in Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with partners from 158 countries during the reporting period.
Azerbaijan exported its products to 109 countries, and imported from 146.
According to committee, foreign trade turnover in actual prices increased by 75.5 percent, in real terms - by 10 percent, including exports - by 17.6 percent, and imports decreased by 3.4 percent compared to first five months of 2021.
