Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S. Babayeva / The inspections to uncover bird flu was completed in Azerbaijan on October 26. No virus was revealed, the State Veterinary Service at the Agriculture Ministry reported.
Monitoring commenced in Absheron Peninsula, Davachi, Salyan, and Agjabadi regions on October 22 and was completed in Lankaran region on October 26.
Some 864 blood samples were delivered to the State Veterinary Service's laboratory.
The results of the examinations will be announced on November 3.
The situation with bird flu is stable in Azerbaijan. Eight inspections have been held to detect bird flu.
