Foundation breaking of a textile factory is to take place in the free industrial zone of Kutaisi, Georgia on Tuesday at 12:00.
The Kutaisi Mayoral Office told Trend that the owner of the Egyptian company KJM Abdelasid Rasni and director of free industrial zone Mikhail Tigishvili will discuss the company's goals and future plans. Mayor of Kutaisi Georgy Tevdoradze and other officials will attend the meeting.
All necessary equipment for the mill has been delivered to Kutaisi and its assembling has started. Furthermore, labor recruitment is conducted. In the first stage 105 people will work at the company, and after starting to work at full capacity - about 400 people.
Textile mill will produce blankets, mattresses, blankets and other textile products.
Free industrial zone of Kutaisi has been operating since late 2009. Now enterprises of Egyptian company Fresh, which specialize in producing household appliances, are working here.
