Azerbaijani salt producer Nakhchivan Duz Istehsali Ltd. intends to export its products to the CIS and the Middle East, Anar Asadullayev, director of the company, told Trend.
The company has received export related requests and offers from Turkey and Russia, Asadullayev said.
"For the time being, we are considering these two options, and we are planning to start exporting to the Russian and Turkish markets as production increases after new salt deposits are discovered," he said.
The company produces table and industrial salt.
The company's products have a Certificate of Conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents, as well as a hygiene certificate issued by the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Azerbaijani Healthcare Ministry.
Nakhchivan Duz Istehsali Ltd. operates modern equipment made in Russia, Turkey and Iran.
