Turkmenistan sees decline in imports from Spain for 1H2021

The volume of goods exported by Spain to Turkmenistan in June 2021 decreased by 111,414 euros compared to January 2021 and amounted to 765,908 euros (877,322 in January 2021), Eurostat told Trend.

According to the information, the total volume of goods Spain exported to Turkmenistan in 1H2021 in value terms amounted to 3.7 million euros, while in physical terms it amounted to 5,347 tons.

It is reported that during the reporting period the main export of Spanish goods to Turkmenistan accounted for furniture, bedding, mattresses, mattress supports, cushions, and similar stuffed furnishings, lamps, and lighting fittings worth 1.7 million euros in the amount of 0,422 tons.

Also, in 1H2021 Spain exported to Turkmenistan wood and articles of wood, wood charcoal for 751,706 euros (0,342 tons), nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery, and mechanical appliances – for 369,888 euros (0,091 tons), essential oils and resinoids, perfumery, cosmetic and toilet preparations – for 106,351 euros (0,060 tons).

At the same time, in 1H2021 Spain imported from Turkmenistan goods worth 340,145 euros in the amount of 3,239 tons.

Mainly, during the reporting period, Spain imported from Turkmenistan plastics and made-up textile articles for 311,463 and 27,912 euros, respectively.

In general, the total volume of goods imported by EU countries from Turkmenistan in 1H2021 accounted for 240 million Euros in the amount of 6.1 million tons.

At the same time, Turkmenistan during the reporting period imported from EU countries goods worth 275 million euros in the amount of 239,737 tons.
