Iran discloses number of industrial enterprises re-launched in country

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. The activity of 2,086 industrial enterprises was resumed in Iran since the current government came to power in Iran (August 2021), Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran and Head of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO), Ali Rasoulian told IRNA, Trend reports.

The deputy minister noted that the activity of 766 enterprises has been resumed during the current Iranian year (started on March 21, 2022).

Rasoulian added that with the support of the Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO), the activity of industrial enterprises is restored by the private sector.

“The ISIPO has reached an agreement with the Bank Melli Iran and intends to implement financial support worth 12 trillion rials (about $285 million) to small and medium industrial enterprises. Of this, 10 trillion rials (about $238 million) will be provided by the Bank Melli Iran and 2 trillion rials (about $47.6 million) by the ISIPO. A part of the mentioned money will be given to small industrial enterprises with less than 10 employees,” he said.
