BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 29. Iran’s non-oil exports through the customs of Isfahan Province increased by 13 percent in value and 11 percent in volume, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022, through March 20, 2023), compared to the preceding year (March 21, 2021, through March 20, 2022), Director General for Isfahan Province Customs Office Rasoul Kuhestani said, Trend reports citing the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

According to Kuhestani, a total of 2.38 million tons of goods worth $1.53 billion were exported through the province's five customs in the last Iranian year.

The director general added that overall, 813 kinds of non-oil products were exported through the province’s customs for the reporting period, mainly steel and related products worth $636 million, petrochemical products worth $227 million, dairy products worth $132 million, and carpets worth $121 million.

He said that the mentioned products were exported to 92 countries.

“So, the goods worth $590 million were exported to Iraq, worth $275 million to Pakistan, $160 million worth to Türkiye, $102 million worth to Afghanistan, and $91 million worth to the UAE via the province’s customs during the last year,” Kuhestani noted.

The customs official also pointed out that the products worth $853 million were exported through the Isfahan border checkpoint, worth $399 million through the Kashan border checkpoint, worth $206 million through the customs in the territory of the Esfahan Steel Company, worth $65 million through the customs in the territory of the Mobarakeh Steel Company, and worth $9 million through the customs of Shahid Beheshti International Airport

There are 5 customs operating in Iran’s Isfahan Province.
