The Association of the Azerbaijan’s banks (ABA) plans to submit its proposals by 14 November on the project “The rules for arranging currency exchange bureaus and operations with the cash currency”.
"New rules envision the change of the terminology currency exchange “places” for �bureau”. The bureaus will perform their activities in special places, besides, the rules describe the commitments on technical equipping of bureaus. The bureaus will be dealing with buy and sale and exchange not only of the cash currency, but also cheques, issued in the foreign currency.
For the moment 5 banks presented their resumes on the issue. The proposals will be generalized by ABA and submitted to the National Bank of Azerbaijan for consideration.
