Georgia halted Russian gas supplies to Armenia, the Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation told Trend on Jan. 9.
Georgian Energy Minister Aleksandr Khetaguri will issue a special statement at a gas distribution station in the Gardabani region today at 13:00.
Georgia transits Russian gas to Armenia via its territory. Ten percent remains in the country as payment.
Russia has refused Georgian demands for higher transit fees or shares on numerous occasions.
