The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Reppublic's (SOCAR) Production Union "Azerigas" laid about 1,310 kilometers of gas pipelines of different diameters under the project on restoring gas supply system and region's gas supply in 2009-2010, SOCAR reported.
The company laid 61-kilometer pipeline in the Mingechevir city and 83.5-kilometer pipeline in the Hajigabul region under the project of reconstruction of the gas system. The company laid 41.6-kilometers pipes in the Barda region and 39-kilometers pipelines in the Imisli region to improve the level of gas supply.
The work on the reconstruction and improvement of quality of Azerbaijan's gas supply are carried under the sate programs of development of fuel and energy complex (2005-2015) and socio-economic development of the regions (2009-2013 the years).
