Turkmenistan auctioned about 190,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex today at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

Turkmenistan auctioned about 190,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex today at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

The country put as stock trades about 60,000 tons of liquefied gas, about 3,000 tons of polypropylene, 70,000 tons of fuel oil, 20,000 tons of diesel fuel, 30,000 tons of aviation kerosene and 10,000 tons of basic fuel.

Last week at the auction of the national stock exchanges recorded over 13 transactions. Businessmen from Russia, UAE and Virgin Islands purchased gasoline, kerosene, straight run gasoline and polypropylene.

Traditionally, the main buyers are also the companies from U.S., Switzerland, Virgin Islands, Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Iran and other countries. The total amount of contracts exceeded $49 million last week.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
