By Emil Ismayilov - Trend: Nearly 23,820 kilometers of gas pipelines were constructed by "Azerigas" Production Association (PO) of the Azerbaijani State Oil Company (SOCAR) since 2009, a message from SOCAR said on Nov.8.
"Azerigas" PO is engaged in the distribution and sale of gas to the country's consumers.
According to the message, some 22,350 kilometers of the total volume of constructed gas pipelines fell to the country's regions. The remaining 1299.4 kilometers fell to Baku, and around 182.7 kilometers fell to main gas pipelines.
In addition, the PO overhauled around 7144.2 kilometers of gas pipelines during the reported period.
"Azerigas" constructed some 7,672 kilometers of new gas pipelines and overhauled as many as 1190.3 kilometers of gas pipelines in January-October.
