The Kazakh oil transportation company KazTransOil transported more than 46 million metric tons of oil for the first nine months of this year, KazTransOil director general Kayrgeldy Kabyldin said at a briefing in the Central Communications Service under the President of Kazakhstan.
"In 2013, the company ensured transporting more than 67 million metric tons of oil produced in Kazakhstan or about 60 percent of total production in 2013," he said. "During the first nine months of this year, we transported about 46 million metric tons of oil."
He said that at present, KazTransOil transports more than 60 percent of the oil produced in Kazakhstan to the domestic and foreign markets.
"Our customers are more than 80 oil producing companies, as well as those with foreign capital, which operate in Kazakhstan," Kabyldin said.
