The Marketing and Operations Department of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR exported 13.96 million tons of oil from the Turkish port of Ceyhan in January-October 2017, as compared to 13.99 million tons in the same period of 2016, reads a message on SOCAR website.
SOCAR exported 1.2 million tons of oil from the Ceyhan port in October 2017 as compared to 1.67 million tons of oil in October 2016.
Overall, SOCAR exported 16.78 million tons of oil from the Ceyhan port in 2016, as compared to 17.93 million tons in 2015.
Oil is delivered to the Ceyhan port via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline.
