Seventy-one research projects worth 140 billion rials (about $3.3 million) have been approved in the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company, said Abbas Ziaei, director of the company’s Research and Development Department, Trend reports via Shana news agency.
He said that the company is taking steps to support the related scientific studies. Since 2002, 519 scientific works have been submitted to this company, he added. Presently, 107 scientific works are under implementation and 48 works have been approved this year, he said.
He added that 61 university intellectuals also started working at the company.
“The signing of the contract on the approved projects, the formation of scientific work projects of students and science workers, building constructive relationships with universities, science and research centers, as well as implementing joint work between the university and the industry are the issues lying in the focus of the company,” he said.
