Azerbaijan imported RON-95 Premium gasoline to Russia in the volume of 39,376 tons from January through September 2020 and thereby increasing the import volume by 2.2 times compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
In monetary terms, the import of gasoline to Russia in the mentioned period totaled over $23.4 million, which is 1.7 times more compared to the same period of 2019, the report said.
From January through September 2020, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia surpassed $2.19 billion. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan purchased most of the products from Russia - for $1.63 billion, and thereby the share of all imports from Russia made up 18.58 percent.
As reported, Russia exported $565.5 million worth of Azerbaijani products over the past 10 months of 2020.
In general, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover for the first ten months of this year amounted to over $21 billion, which is 25.7 percent less compared to the same period in 2019.
The balance of foreign trade turnover in annual terms decreased by 35.4 percent but remained positive, totaling $3.46 billion.
