The Global Gas Centre (GGC) can help promote Turkmen gas in Central Asia and Europe, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gaz electronic newspaper.
Executive Director of GGC, Valérie Ducrot, said this while speaking online at the international conference.
"II will be very happy to work closely with you, including in promoting Turkmen gas in Central Asia and Europe," Ducrot said.
According to her, Turkmenistan can play a significant role in the region due to its resources and the projects it implements.
She also noted that Turkmenistan, which ranks 4th in the world in terms of natural gas resources and is its most important supplier, is developing its export infrastructure. And promising large-scale projects will allow the country to become the largest energy bridge between East and West.
As it was reported, Turkmenistan will study key trends in the global oil and gas industry, the state of world energy markets and analyze the demand for the main types of products of the fuel and energy complex to form its own development plan for the fuel and energy sector.
In order to improve the country's fuel and energy sector, it was also decided to diversify the oil and gas sector and modernize its infrastructure on an innovative basis.
Also, the fuel and energy sector of Turkmenistan can establish cooperation with foreign companies in the field of it.
