Bahar fields gas output stands below budgeted volumes

Actual gas production at Azerbaijan’s Bahar field in November 2020 stood at 628,818 cubic meters per day versus the budgeted volume of 659,000 cubic meters per day, Trend reports with reference to the US Greenfields Petroleum Company, which operates the project through its subsidiary BEOC.

The monthly statistics shows that the field produced 503,369 cubic meters per day in January as compared to the planned 580,000 cubic meters per day, 520,695 cubic meters per day versus 616,000 cubic meters per day in February, 563,562 cubic meters per day vs 617,000 cubic meters per day in March, 556,996 cubic meters vs 615,000 cubic meters in April, 571,667 cubic meters vs 623,000 cubic meters in May, 572,778 cubic meters vs 636,000 cubic meters in June, 567,785 cubic meters vs 644,000 cubic meters in July, 559,590 cubic meters vs 655,000 cubic meters in August, 589,748 cubic meters vs 648,000 cubic meters in September and 644,531 cubic meters vs 671,000 cubic meters in October.

The Bahar Gas Field consists of 45 offshore platforms including a central processing and metering platform to gather the gas for onward transport through a three 12-inch pipelines to the shore-based gas and liquid handling facilities. The platforms, in most cases are built on 24 to 30 pilings each in an average water depth of about 16 metres.
