Czech Republic boosts imports of petroleum oil from Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan has exported 77,482 tons of crude petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 30.3 million euros to Czech Republic in March 2021, a Eurostat official told Trend.

In turn, Kazakhstan exported 258,620 tons of petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals worth 93.9 million euros to Czech Republic over the period from Jan. through Mar. 2021.

Thus, the March volume of petroleum oil and oil obtained from bituminous minerals from Kazakhstan to the Czech Republic is 36.3 percent more compared to January 2021 (56,825 tons) and is 37.6 percent less than in February 2021 (124,313 tons).

March exports are also 71.1 percent more than January 2021 (17.7 million euros) and are 33.8 percent less than in February 2021 (45.8 million euros).

The value of trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Czech Republic amounted to $60.3 million from January through March 2021, compared to $89.8 million during the same period of 2020.

Kazakhstan’s exports to Czech Republic amounted to $24.3 million from January through March 2021, compared to $20.8 million during the same period of 2020.

In turn, Kazakhstan’s imports from Czech Republic amounted to nearly $36.04 million over the reporting period, compared to $68.9 million during the same period of 2020.
