BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 1. Azerbaijan’s SOCAR AGS drilling and well services management company has signed a partnership agreement with the Iraqi Drilling Company (IDC) for complex oil well drilling and overhaul, Trend reports with reference to SOCAR AQS.
The agreement provides for cooperation in the implementation of drilling projects in Iraq for national and international oil companies.
"We are pleased to expand the geography of our activities within our goals, such as international development and expansion of opportunities for the implementation of complex drilling projects. This cooperation creates new opportunities for business relations, exchange of experience and knowledge between Azerbaijan and Iraq, also for business expansion," General Director of SOCAR AQS, Samir Mollayev, noted.
SOCAR AQS and Iraqi IDC signed a protocol reflecting preliminary agreements to continue cooperation in drilling operations at the beginning of this year.
