BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. The sales of Iran’s Arya Sasol Polymer Company increased by 3 percent for the last Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), compared to the preceding year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), CEO of the company, Mohammad Reza Heydarzadeh said at the company’s annual meeting, Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.
According to Heydarzadeh, the company's total sales for the reporting period amounted to 274 trillion rials (about $6.52 billion).
The CEO also added that the company’s net revenues stood at 110 trillion rials (about $2.62 billion) in the last Iranian year. This is an increase of 39 percent compared to the preceding year.
“Overall, the company produced more than 1.78 million tons of various products, including, 972,000 tons of ethylene, 369,000 tons of light polyethylene, 351,000 tons of heavy polyethylene, 92,000 tons of C3+ products within the last year,” he said.
Iran’s Arya Sasol Polymer Company is located in Asaluyeh County of Bushehr Province (southern Iran). The company has the capacity to produce about 2 million tons of petrochemical products per year.
The company can produce 1.1 million tons of ethylene, 375,000 tons of light polyethylene, 375,000 tons of heavy polyethylene and 100,000 tons of C3+ products per year.
