BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 13. Since the commissioning of Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) fields and until December 1, 2023, 583.3 million tons of oil and 215.2 billion cubic meters of gas have been extracted from this Caspian hydrocarbon block, Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy said, Trend reports.
Ministry of Energy data shows that 16.4 million tons of oil and 11.7 billion cubic meters of gas were extracted from ACG from January through November 2023.
At the Shah Deniz field, 206.7 billion cubic meters of gas were produced from commissioning until December 1, 2023, of which 146.4 billion cubic meters were exported.
From December 2006 until December 1, 2023, Shah Deniz produced about 44.1 million tons of condensate, of which 3.9 million tons were produced from January through November 2023.
During the entire period of export operations, 625.4 million tons of oil (including condensate) were exported from Azerbaijan to world markets.
In the first 11 months of 2023, Azerbaijan exported 23.1 million tons of oil (including condensate), of which 20.2 million tons were distributed among the Consortium members and 2.9 million tons - to SOCAR (The State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan).
