BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. Azerbaijan produced 1.275 billion manat worth of oil products from January through March 2024, which is 5.4 percent more than from January through March 2023 figure, the data of the State Statistics Committee (SCC) said, Trend reports.
The Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery produced 384,100 tons of motor gasoline (up 9.9 percent), 599,800 tons of gasoil (diesel fuel) (up 7.8 percent), 159,600 tons of jet fuel (up 16.9 percent), and 51,400 tons of oil bitumen (up 29.8 percent).
The decrease was in the production of lubricating oils: 14,500 tons (down 5.8 percent), and petroleum coke: 61,100 tons (down 4.7 percent).
The data from SCC showed that as of April 1, 2024, the stocks of finished products in refinery warehouses were: motor gasoline: 64,900 tons; jet fuel: 51,500 tons; gas oil (diesel fuel): 163,300 tons; fuel oil: 1,300 tons (no output in March); lubricating oils: 4,300 tons; oil bitumen: 13,800 tons; and petroleum coke: 41,600 tons.
