“The Turkish company Tekfen is interested in the participation of a project on treatment of oil polluted areas in Azerbaijan,” Batachar Baysal, the General Director of the Baku Office of the company, told Trend.
According to Baysal, the company holds talk with the Azerbaijani government in this direction. "In particular, we are interested in the treatment of the South Caucasus bay. Around $200m is required for the implementation of the work scheduled,” Baysal stressed.
Touching upon the financing of the project, the general director of the company said that it can be at the expense of own funds of the company and also through attracting foreign sources.
Baysal also noted that Tekfen was interested in the participation in the projects on the construction of automobile routes in Azerbaijan.
