The consumer price index in Azerbaijan increased by 4.8 percent from January through August 2021, compared to the same period last year, Trend reports via State Statistics Committee.
Food, beverages and tobacco products have increased by 5.4 percent in 2021. Non-food products and paid services to the population rose in price by 4.2 percent.
The consumer price index increased by 0.5 percent in August 2021, compared to July 2021 and by 6.7 percent compared to August 2020.
