Iranian companies expressed readiness to reopen closed factories in Syria, the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran Reza Fatemi Amin said, Trend reports citing Mehr News Agency.
Seyyed Reza Fatemi Amin, made the remarks on the sideline of his visit to a number of factories in the Adra industrial town of Syria.
Referring to the purpose of his visit to Syria, he mentioned the development of economic relations between the two countries.
Fatemi Amin said that the issue of renovation of the Syrian industry, especially the textile industry, was discussed during his meetings with Syrian officials.
Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade Reza Fatemi Amin has traveled to Syria to open an exhibition and hold meetings with a number of senior Syrian officials.
